Summary: This article argues that the education sector has missed an opportunity to leverage technology to improve learning outcomes post-COVID-19. While schools adopted technology to enable remote learning during the pandemic, they did not use technology to transform how learning is delivered. The article suggests that to fully realize the benefits of ed-tech, schools need to adopt a more innovative, student-centered approach to learning. It also highlights the need for investments in teacher training, digital infrastructure, and educational research to support effective use of ed-tech.
