Who is SOS Children’s Village Pakistan?

SOS Children's Villages of Pakistan is a private social welfare organization affiliated with the world's largest orphan and abandoned children’s charity: SOS Kinderdorf International. The organization provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children in need and protects their interests and rights around the world. SOS Pakistan is one of a large family of SOS Children’s Villages active in 133 countries and territories worldwide.

What do they do?

In Pakistan it has a network of 18 Children Village Schools located across 18 different cities of Pakistan. They focus on four basic principles: Mother, Brothers & Sisters, A Home and A Village. Children who are deprived of their natural parents are kept in an environment that is as close as possible to a natural home. Children are provided with loving care, security, higher education and job training. These children live as close to a normal life as possible, instilled with a sense of confidence so they can develop to their full potential.
