You are reading this because you can . . . yet over a billion people in the world cannot.

Nearly 2 billion people in the world are functionally illiterate, and another billion are barely so. The consequences are devastating, for individuals, communities, and the world, with illiteracy strongly linked to poverty, poor health, and crime.

Solving the illiteracy crisis, one child at a time

Since 2016, Teach the World Foundation has pioneered a groundbreaking, simple, and cost-effective solution to empower children with functional literacy and numeracy skills from kindergarten to grade 5.

We’re making a difference in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Malawi, transforming lives . . . watch this video to see how.

We deliver life-changing impact. Today.

80% of the population in poor countries experiences learning poverty. The primary causes are a dire shortage of schools and teachers, as well as poor quality instruction in existing schools.

Leveraging digital technology, Teach the World’s solutions work around these constraints by using best-in-class digital education games, delivered via tablet or smartphone, to offer an engaging and interactive way for students to learn. Not only is our approach rapidly deployable and cost-effective in the most resource-constrained places in the world, but it also outperforms traditional schooling in areas where access to quality education is scarce.

Over 10,000 lives changed so far

Teach the World is currently on the ground with 82 programs operating in 3 countries with some of the highest illiteracy rates in the world, currently serving 11,000 students and counting.
